Hayes Way Project Win as Magrock set to deliver Tungsten Park Filton Industrial Estate

We’re delighted to announce has been appointed the £19m contract to deliver Tungsten Park Filton, a new 94,000sq ft Grade A industrial development for valued clients Tungsten Properties

The scheme will comprise five units ranging from 10,200 sq ft to 30,000 sq ft (947 sq m to2,787 sq m) on a 4.6-acre site which is located adjacent to the historic Filton Airfield. The development will provide high quality warehouse accommodation with first-floor offices, generous yard depths and strong power provision, and benefit from a prominent position fronting the A38, close to Junction 16 of theM5 and Junction 20 of the M4.

Works to be under taken by Magrock include earthworks, ground works, steel frame erection, roofing, wall cladding, fit out, and external works, including landscaping, drainage, utilities works, parking and service yards. The project will target BREEAM Excellent, an EPC A rating, and a biodiversity net gain of 10%, with sustainability features including 10% EV charging spaces installed, with 50% of the remaining space being ‘EV ready’. Additionally, over and above the attenuation strategy, balancing ponds will be incorporated to support effective surface water management and meet sustainable drainage objectives.

Magrock has been appointed as main contractor following a competitive tender process and will deliver the development on behalf of Tungsten and its funding partner.

We look forward to bringing this project to life alongside our project partners Tungsten, Goodrich and HTC Architects and PRP engineers.
