Celebrating a decade of projects, partnerships, and people as Magrock reaches its 10-year anniversary. Known for delivering complex projects across multiple sectors, including retail and logistics, commercial, ultra-urban, fit-out and refurbishment, the main contractor has built a strong reputation over the past 10 years. To mark the milestone, Magrock has launched its new charity initiative, The Magrock 10 Impact series, with an aim to create a lasting legacy.
Founded in 2016 by brothers Richard and David Brewer, alongside directors Kylie Boarer and Dean Pask, Magrock began as a small team with big ambitions and a desire to ‘do things differently’. Within a year, the business secured its first £1 million contract. The project, delivered for Clipper Logistics, involved the installation of a 5,000 sq ft mezzanine floor which was followed by a fit out at Pretty Little Thing’s distribution centre in Sheffield. Working at pace in a live environment the completed works allowed the brands to maximise their operation and increase output.
By 2018, Magrock had secured its first new-build contract, consisting of two single-storey warehouse units totalling 83,000 sq. ft. and just four years later, the contractor had delivered its first £10 million project, paving the way for future schemes exceeding £20 million.

With a genuine passion for people, Magrock credits its success to its team. Today, the business employs more than 120 like-minded people, who combine expertise with enthusiasm and a shared passion for construction. From the site teams to the regional offices, the founding values continue to guide the business, with passion, trust and respect woven into day-to-day operations.
With a target turnover of £125 million, Magrock now operates through two regional offices, London and South, and Midlands and North, supported by a leadership team of 10 directors.
Managing Director Richard Brewer said: “Reaching our 10-year milestone is a proud moment for everyone at Magrock. What we have achieved together reflects the dedication of our people, the strength of our client relationships and the shared values that continue to drive the business forward. As we look ahead, we remain focused on delivering outstanding projects while creating a positive legacy in the communities we work in.”
To mark the anniversary, Magrock has launched a new website and refreshed brand identity, alongside a series of legacy projects under the Magrock 10Impact Series. The series is designed to create a lasting benefit through learning and development opportunities. One initiative delivers a South Downs residential weekend for 60 inner-city children, offering vital access to outdoor learning that supports wellbeing, engagement, and improved educational outcomes.
Magrock will also partner with The Mason Foundation, which supports neurodiverse young people to build skills and explore pathways into the construction industry. As part of the initiative, 10 Magrock employees will train as mentors and help provide guidance, confidence-building workshops, and placement opportunities.
In addition, the Magrock team is supporting Kent-based charity Involve by helping transform a disused building into Digitally Connected, a new Digital Inclusion & Community Hub for local people experiencing digital exclusion. The hub will particularly support people whose age, disability, caring responsibilities, long-term health condition, low digital confidence or social isolation can make it harder to get online, access services, complete forms and stay connected. Through scoping, enabling works and hands-on volunteering, Magrock is helping shape a community space where people can build digital confidence, access support and strengthen community connections.
Over the past decade, Magrock has built its business on strong partnerships, steady growth, and a clear commitment to people. As it looks ahead, the company remains focused on building on that foundation with energy and purpose, whilst creating a positive impact within local communities.
