Magrock Awarded First Contract with Big Yellow Self Storage in Kentish Town
Magrock is thrilled to announce the award of our first project with Big Yellow Self Storage, a leading provider of self-storage solutions in the UK. This exciting venture involves the construction and fit out of a state of the art self storage facility in Kentish town, London.
Project Overview:
The project includes the construction of the building shell and subsequent fit out works for the new Big Yellow Self Storage facility, adding a total of 70,000 sq ft MLA to the portfolio.
The scope of work comprises :
Shell and fit out works : Magrock will oversee the construction of the building shell and deliver a comprehensive fit-out, including all associated external and highway works.
External works : Development of new service yard , footpaths, drainage, fencing, landscaping, and ecological enhancements within the site boundary.
Fit-out works: Detailed fit-out of the reception area, flexi office spaces, internal doors, wall protection, and finishes in common areas and self storage spaces, managed in collaboration with pre-selected contractors.
UKPN Sub-Station: New envelope and roof works for the existing substation, ensuring it functions as a seperate structure from the new building.

Project timeline:
Site possesion: Summer 2025 with practical completion scheduled for Summer 2026.
